Dr. M.H. Yashavarddhan joined Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) in June 2024 as a scientist in the Department of Biotechnology and Research. He completed his PhD in Biotechnology from DRDO-INMAS, focusing on DNA damage signaling in response to ionizing radiation. With over seven years of post-doctoral experience at DRDO, ICMR, and SGRH, his expertise spans proteomics, radiation biology, oncology, and virology. He has contributed to significant research, including patented animal models for burn studies and novel diagnostic methods for SARS-CoV-2. At SGRH, he oversees the Mass Spectrometry facility, specializing in proteomics, metabolomics, and LC-MS diagnostics, with a focus on gallbladder cancer and cholangiocarcinoma. His research aims to discover early biomarkers for these cancers and improve personalized treatment methods. Dr. Yashavarddhan has published over 30 papers and holds four patents, making notable contributions to biotechnology and medical research.
