For the first time in North India, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has successfully treated a Parkinson’s patient using a non-invasive MRgFUS (MRI-Guided Focused Ultrasound) Thalamotomy.
Dr. Ajay Swaroop (Chairman, Board of Management), and Dr. Satnam Singh Chhabra (Chairman, Department of Neurosurgery) & Dr. Anshu Rohatgi (Vice Chairman, Department of Neurology), led the initiative. The patient experienced immediate, tremor-free relief, marking a significant leap in advanced neurological care.
