He Realized That Plastic Surgery Was His Calling And Was Accepted Into The Highly Competitive And Prestigious Burns, Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program At The Postgraduate Institute Of Medical Education And Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He Received Training In A Wide Breadth Of Plastic Surgery During His Residency, Including Aesthetic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, Craniofacial Reconstruction, Microsurgery, Brachial Plexus Reconstruction, Hand And Burn Surgery, Which Provided Him With A Strong Foundation In Plastic Surgery. He Chose Plastic Surgery Because He Has Always Been Interested In Improving The Quality Of Life, Appearance And Self-Confidence Of Patients. He Always Aims To Provide A Holistic Treatment So That Patients Can Lead As Normal And Dynamic Life As Possible. His Motto Is Doing The Right Things For The Right Reason In The Correct Manner. He Performs Cosmetic Surgery And Reconstruction In Areas Throughout The Body But Is Particularly Interested In Breast And Extremity Reconstruction. Dr. Sharma Has Conducted Academic Research In Cosmetic And Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He Has Published In Some Of The Most Prestigious Plastic Surgery Journals. He Is An Active Member Of The Association Of Plastic Surgeons Of India (APSI), Indian Association Of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (IAAPS), International Society Of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) And Association Of Surgeons Of India (ASI).
