1. Registration 

Patients coming to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for the first time have to do a one-time registration by paying Rs.200/- and submitting Aadhar card as proof of identity. A card is given which bears a permanent registration number linked to patients Aadhar card. If Aadhar card is not available any photographic proof with biometric like PAN card/Passport/Driving license

2. Type of Admission

1.  Emergency admission from casualty/transfer from ICU of other hospital.
2. Planned admission from OPD.

One attendant is required to stay with the admitted patient to take care of administrative work/consents

Room Categories available at the Hospital with Tariff  Rooms and Ameneties 

Room/bed can be selected based on need of privacy and paying comfort subject to availability

Important

  • In case the patient is shifted from the lower category to the higher category, the charges for the consultant visits, investigations charges and operation charges from the date of admission will be as per the higher category.However, the higher room tariff will be applicable from day of shifting
  • Room category can be downgraded upon request and subject to availability, till the time a bed of lower category is allotted, room tariff and treatment charges will be charged as per the existing category
  • The operation charges for the daycare procedures/surgeries will be that of Category 2. For patients staying for less than 6 hours, day care service charges would be Rs. 3700/‐ towards bed charges and other miscellaneous services.
  • If a patient stays in day care beyond 6 hours, the bed charges will be that of Category 2. However, if patient requires hospitalization, the professional charges of doctor, investigations & OT Charges, etc. will be according to the category where patient is admitted or Category 2 whichever is higher.
  • LR/Maternity booking advance is Non‐refundable .Patients of Category 1D / 2 discharged directly from  labour waiting room will be charged according to Category 2-bed charges only.

    Submit the Pre-Authorisation form at TPA helpdesk to avail Cashless Treatment within 24 hours of admission or 48 hours prior to planned admission

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    1. In case a Pre-authorization denied by Insurance /TPA for any reason whatsoever hospital bill has to be
    paid by patient who may seek reimbursement of the claim subsequently from insurance company.

    Patients from Corporates/ Government Departments empanelled with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital can be admitted by showing their Company Identity Card and Government issued Identity Card/credit letter issued by empanelled company subject to bed availability.

    International patients are admissible in the ‘Self-Paying’ category only. An advance of INR 4,00,000 needs to be deposited as an advance at the time of admission.
    The Currency Exchange facility -Counter no. 18 in the Billing section. Cash deposit is accepted only up to INR 1,99,000 only as per IT rules

    Only One attendant pass is allowed per patient. For Suites, one additional pass is allowed. Passes are issued from the Admissions Desk at the time of admission

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Diet

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Complementary therapeutic diet will be provided to the admitted patient on a cyclical menu. In case of pediatric patients/patients needing consolidated feeds in critical areas, if commercial items are prescribed those will be billed.

    3. When you leave the Hospital

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Discharge Process

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Room charges are for the full day on the day of admission irrespective of the check-in time. If the patient is discharged within 24 hours of admission, room/bed charges are only for one day.

    Half-day rent :           12 noon till 2 PM
    Full-day rent:             After 2 PM
    Patients/attendants should await SMS intimation on the registered Mobile Number for information about the discharge process.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    1. All payments are accepted in cash/Pay order/Demand Draft. Visa/Master Card facility is available. Personal cheques are not accepted.
    2. Visit fees, operation charges, and investigation charges are applicable as per the category of the bed.
    3. For refund, patient’s /Attendant’s Photo ID & Phone No. is required.

    4. Refund of less than Rs 20,000/- is paid by cash. Refund of more than Rs 20,000 will be through cheque/ NEFT/ RTGS only.
