Dr. Arun Gupta

“Pioneering Minimally Invasive Solutions in Interventional Radiology for Over Two Decades”

Dr. Arun Gupta is the Chairperson and Senior Consultant of the Department of Interventional Radiology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. Over a career spanning more than 20 years, he has been instrumental in transforming vascular and non vascular interventions in India and is widely regarded as a pioneer of interventional radiology.

After completing his MD in Radio-Diagnosis from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, and specialized IR training at SGPGI, Lucknow, Dr. Gupta established and scaled the IR services at SGRH, introducing state-of-the-art minimally invasive therapies for liver, vascular, and oncological conditions.

He has authored 70+ peer-reviewed publications, trained numerous fellows and DNB students, and serves in leadership roles at ISVIR and APSCVIR, actively bridging clinical excellence, academic innovation, and patient-centered care.
