Dr. R. S. Chahal is a senior orthopedic and spine surgeon with over 20 years of experience in advanced spine care. He is currently serving as Vice Chairman, Department of Spine Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
He has received prestigious international training, including AO Spine Fellowship (UK) and ASSI-Dartmouth Spine Fellowship (USA). His expertise includes complex spinal deformities, degenerative disorders, spinal trauma, infections, and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Dr. Chahal is actively involved in academic teaching and research, with over 50 scientific publications and presentations. He has held key leadership roles in national spine societies and is a regular faculty and invited speaker at major national and international conferences.

Dedicated spine surgery work only, main interest in degenerative spine diseases, pain relief and spinal injections, deformity surgery and minimal invasive spine surgery, including transforaminal endoscopic disectomy. You only worry about your head or spinal column. Everything else, some way or another, will repair in time. Dr. Chahal is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. He has numerous national and international publications and involved in training program of fellowship of National board. He was awarded the prestigious Dartmouth spine fellowship in 2012, awarded to one spine surgeon every year, He is member of several spine societies and is involved in organizing several national and international conferences. He is involved in various clinical research projects. He is the present Education officer (Ortho) AOSpine Indian subcontinent and faculty for AOSpine India. He is also involved with lot of charitable societies; organizing health camps, delivering talks on health awareness and supporting a cause. When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Chahal enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys cooking, jogging, exercising, reading, watching news and going to the theater.
