Dr. Aman Makhija is a graduate (MBBS) and post graduate (MD) from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi passed with honours (Gold medal). He has done his training in cardiology (DM) at King George Medical University, Lucknow. Dr. Makhija has received training in cardiac electrophysiology and Radiofrequency ablation under Dr Calambur Narsimhan at CARE hospitals Hyderabad in 2010. Presently he is working as Consultant Cardiologist at Sir Ganga Ram hospital. He has an expertise in adult coronary interventions-coronary Stenting (including complex bifurcation and Left main disease stenting), Rotablation, FFR and IVUS.
He is an expert of cardiac implantatable devices implantation (Pacemakers include biventricular pacemakers and ICD/CRTD), radiofrequency ablation of tachyarrhythmias including PSVT and atrial flutter and is an IBHRE certified CARDIAC DEVICE SPECIALIST. He has performed more than 500 cardiac device implantation He is in-charge of Device Clinic at ganga Ram hospital where routine follow up and troubleshooting of all cardiac device patients is performed.
