Dr. Fousin M Latheef completed her schooling in her home state before pursuing her MBBS at the esteemed TD Medical College, Alappuzha. Demonstrating academic excellence and strong leadership from an early stage, she was honored as the Best Outgoing Student during her MBBS, a recognition that reflected her dedication and exceptional clinical aptitude. With a deep commitment to advancing her training in respiratory medicine, Dr. Fousin moved to New Delhi to undertake her residency. She completed her DNB in Chest Medicine at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), one of India’s foremost centers for pulmonary care. Her outstanding performance once again earned her the title of Best Outgoing Student, reinforcing her reputation for excellence and her unwavering determination to grow within her specialty. Following her residency, Dr. Fousin continued her professional journey at SGRH, progressively taking on roles as Senior Resident, Clinical Assistant, and eventually Associate Consultant in the Department of Chest Medicine. Her areas of clinical interest and expertise include interventional pulmonology, allergy, diffuse parenchymal lung diseases (DPLD), sleep abnormalities, and the evaluation of complex, difficult-to-treat cases. Dr. Fousin is known for her dynamic, approachable, and patient-focused style of practice. Her friendly yet professional demeanor, coupled with her strong clinical insight, has made her a trusted physician among peers and patients alike.
