Prof. (Dr.) Srikrishna Das is a highly accomplished General, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeon with nearly two decades of experience in advanced gastrointestinal, bariatric, colorectal and abdominal wall surgery. He completed his MBBS from Dr. S. N. Medical College, Jodhpur, and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer. He further pursued an MBA in Hospital Administration and obtained fellowships in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery with specializations in Colorectal Surgery, Bariatric Surgery and Herniology.
After serving as Senior Resident at AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Das joined the Department of Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Max Hospital, New Delhi. Since 2012, he has been associated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and currently serves as Senior Consultant and Academic Coordinator in the Department of Laparoscopic, Laser and General Surgery.
He has undergone robotic surgery training and observerships in Houston, Texas, USA, and Duke University, North Carolina, USA. His principal interests include robotic and laparoscopic bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction.
Dr. Das is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has contributed extensively to research, publications and academic activities. He serves as a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Surgery and the Indian Journal of Colo-Rectal Surgery. He has been invited faculty at several national and international conferences and is committed to combining surgical excellence with academics and patient-centered care.
