Dr Anup Thakur is a Pediatrician and Neonatologist of international repute. He is currently working as Senior Consultant, Department of Neonatology, Institute of Child Health, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and as Associate Professor (GRIPMER). He is very popular for treatment of children and neonates with common and complicated illness. He is an expert in taking care of neonates requiring ICU care, children with chronic cough, allergy, GI Disorders, fever, lung diseases, pneumonia, growth and infection. He is well versed with recent newborn, childhood and adult vaccination schedules. He is very friendly with kids and believes in policy of least medication as well as ethical evidence based practice. He has treated more than 15,000 neonates and children of various ailments.

Dr Anup Thakur has won several acclodes and gold medals in his illustrious career. He is a Quality Initiative Graduate, from Institute of Healthcare Improvement, Massachusetts, USA and has been conferred Cercle des Echographistes d’Urgence et de Réanimation Francophones in Critical and Lung Ultrasound, Hospital Ambroise Pare, France. He is a reviewer for various international and national journals. He is a teacher of Pediatrics and Neonatology students and has been examiner for fellowship exams. He is on board of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council, India as a reviewer for research projects. He has more than 40 indexed research publications. He has authored 48 chapters in various books of Pediatrics and Neonatology. He has been also editors of two books on care of neonates and children. He has been invited as a speaker in various national and international forums.
