Dr.Gaggan Chadha is a distinguished Senior Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon, serving as the Co-chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

With over 35 years of extensive experience in joint replacement, Dr.Gaggan has been a pivotal figure in the joint replacement program at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital since its inception. Having received specialized training in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia, he is proficient in advanced techniques such as computer-assisted and robotic arm surgery. Dr.Gaggan has played a significant role in conducting more than half of the joint replacements at SGRH, making him the most active consultant in this field at the hospital. Pioneering innovative approaches, he was one of the first in the country to introduce Rotating Platform (LCS) Low- contact stress knee replacements. With the largest numbers of rotating platform knee replacements in North India. Additionally, Dr.Gaggan is among the first surgeons in the country to perform minimally invasive hip replacements. In joint replacement, Dr.Gaggan has the lowest complication and revision rates. He has contributed extensively to research in joint replacement, with over 20 research theses to his credit.
