Dr. Nabanita Sengupta is an Associate Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, with over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. A gold medalist in MD Psychiatry from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, she has completed a prestigious Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. She also holds a one-year certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the Indian Association of Child and Adolescent Mental Health (IACAM).
Dr. Sengupta specializes in the assessment and management of a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental disorders in children and adolescents, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and psychosis. She is a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist with a special interest in trauma-informed care.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sengupta is actively involved in academic mentorship, research, and mental health advocacy. She has mentored psychiatry residents and psychology interns and is currently working on multiple clinical publications. She also conducts workshops for pediatricians, parents, and educators, and uses digital platforms to raise awareness about child mental health.
