Dr. Neeraj Gupta

Dr. Neeraj Gupta is internationally recognized prominent allergist and pediatric specialist dedicated to advancing the management of allergies across all age groups. With credentials including a fellowship with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (FAAAAI), he brings a wealth of knowledge to the treatment and research of diverse allergy problems, emphasizing comprehensive care for food allergies and life-threatening allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis.

As the Director of the Diploma in Pediatric Allergy and Asthma (DPAA) Program, Dr. Gupta leads India's first structured program focused on educating healthcare professionals in pediatric allergy care. His work has been instrumental in establishing the country’s first Pediatric Allergy Lab at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, a World Allergy Organization-designated ‘Centre of Excellence.’ This facility offers state-of-the-art diagnostic services, including skin prick testing, food challenge testing, and immunotherapy, making it a cornerstone for advanced allergy diagnostics and treatment.

Dr. Gupta is known for his pioneering efforts in food allergy research, serving as the principal investigator in clinical trials on food allergies and asthma in collaboration with Northwestern University, USA. He actively works to improve treatment protocols for anaphylaxis through his roles on various international committees, including the AAAAI's Anaphylaxis Committee, ensuring that patients receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care. Dr. Gupta’s commitment extends to community education, where he has developed modules to raise awareness of allergies among non-medical audiences, addressing the critical need for public education on managing and preventing severe allergic reactions.
