Dr. Arti Anand

Dr Arti Anand is a well known clinical psychologist in New Delhi . She has an experience of more than 25 years in the field of mental health and has treated hundreds of patients needing psychological intervention .Dr Arti Anand practices at sir ganga Ram Hospital in Old Rajinder Nagar Delhi . She completed M.Phil-Psychology from Delhi university in 1996 and PhD in clinical psychology from Delhi University in 2000. She is a member of Delhi Psychiatric Society .

She is an expert in understanding the issues to the core and dealing with wide array of mental health issues, psychiatric illness, psychosocial problems. She empowers her client to not only resolve their current problems but to deal with past negative events, situation that are destructive ,or inhibiting self enhancement and growth . She also conducts training programs /workshops on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), stress management, positive parenting etc for students, parents and counsellors.

Dr Arti Anand provides gender sensitive management of girls and womens psychological problems like adolescence pregnancy, menopause, marital and family issues, abuse ,violence etc.Dr Arti Anand is trained in individual psychotherapy and psychometric testing for adults and children .She is a subject expert for various news channels(zee, india tv, abp news doordarshan , etc) and print media( danik jagran , india today, Hindustan times , deccan herald etc).

Dr Arti Anand has been a co- guide for DNB students in Institute of mental health and behavior sciences Sir Ganga Ram Hospital,New Delhi.She has been mentoring students coming for internship from all over India- Amity university , IGNOU, Delhi university, Ambedkar university,etc.
