Dr Apurva Srivastava is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at the Institute of Vascular and Endovascular Sciences, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He is an experienced Vascular and Endovascular specialist with excellent professional skills and the commitment to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients with vascular diseases. He pursued his M.B.B.S and M.S General Surgery from Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU Varanasi. He worked as a Senior Resident and gained his initial experience in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Interventions at the Department of Vascular Surgery, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital from 2011 to 2013. Further, he pursued his DNB training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Institute of Vascular Sciences (JIVAS), Bangalore from 2013 to 2016. Thereafter, he joined as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at the Institute of Vascular & Endovascular Sciences, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2016. He is a life member of the Vascular Society of India and the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS). He holds the current position of Treasurer of the Vascular Society of India. He has numerous scientific presentations to his credit at renowned national and International Vascular Surgery meetings, including the LINC (Leipzig, Germany’2015), LINC Asia Pacific (Hong Kong’2015), ESVS annual meeting (Stockholm’2014), ESVS annual meeting (Lyon’2017), SVS meeting (Chicago, USA’2015) and many others. Dr. Apurva Srivastava is a keen learner of new skills and has excellent team working abilities. He has an extensive knowledge of Vascular diseases and has an excellent clinical acumen. He is a firm beleiver of Evidence based practice and Professional demeanour, and follows the highest levels of ethical standards. He has special interest in Endovascular management of complex peripheral arterial and venous lesions. His other areas of expertise include management of Acute and Critical limb ischemia, Vascular trauma, Aortic aneurysms and dissection, Carotid artery disease, Diabetic foot, AV Malformations, Varicose veins, Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), AV access creation and salvage procedures.
