1. Introduction
We are delighted to invite applications for our One-Year Fellowship Programme in Endocrinology & Metabolism. This program is designed for medical doctors who aim to deepen their expertise in endocrine disorders, metabolic diseases, and diabetes management at one of the region’s leading tertiary care centers.
2. Programme Highlights
During the fellowship, participants will:
Manage and follow cases in outpatient endocrine and metabolic clinics and inpatient consult services.
Participate in subspecialty clinics such as thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, diabetes, bone metabolism, and obesity/weight management.
Attend weekly academic forums: Grand Rounds, Case Presentations, Journal Clubs, and Multidisciplinary Endocrine Tumor Boards.
Hands on training for continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMS), Insulin pump, DXA interpretation, Dynamic testing protocols, interventional endocrinology like Adrenal venous sampling (AVS) and inferior petrosal sinus sampling (IPSS) etc.
Receive structured research training, with protected time for projects, mentorship, and opportunities for publication and conference presentation.

4. Application Process

Statement of Purpose
Two recommendation letters (ideally including one endocrinologist or supervisor)
Preferred start and end dates (e.g., 01/10/2025 to 30/9/2026)
5. Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate medical degree (e.g., MD/DM/DNB) — or equivalent.
Demonstrated interest in endocrine/metabolic disorders and/or research.
Important: This is a non-remunerative fellowship. Fellows are observers and will not be involved in independent patient care or prescribing.
