WPA Early Career Psychiatrists Exchange Program at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital

Institute of psychiatry and behavioural sciences, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, will host a two-week Early Career Psychiatrists (ECPs) Exchange Programunder the aegis of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) in November 2025 (1-15).

This academic and clinical observership aims to promote international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill enhancement among young psychiatrists from around the world.

During the two-week program, participants will engage in:

• Daily observer sessions in psychiatry outpatient and inpatient units
• Consultation–liaison psychiatry postings in collaboration with internal medicine, neurology, nephrology,oncology and other departments
• Specialized exposure to child psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, clinical psychology, and neuropsychiatry services
• Interactive faculty lectures, seminars, and case presentations
• A final group presentation summarizing insights and learning outcomes
