Addressing the Increase in Childhood Disabilities

With the increasing prevalence of Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), the rate of childhood disabilities has also risen. Currently, approximately 10% of the population experiences some form of disability, with even higher rates among high-risk babies who graduate from the NICU and PICU. At the Child Development Clinic, our primary aim is to provide a holistic approach to the evaluation and management of these children.
