How to Reduce Digital Eye Strain from Blue Light

Recent estimates state that around 39 to 44% of teenagers in India are estimated to be suffering from smartphone addiction with a higher ratio of teenage boys suffering from this screen addiction as compared to teenage girls. In this digitally connected era, our eyes face constant strain and stress due to unlimited exposure from the screens of smartphones, computers, televisions, laptops, etc. Contemporary society cannot be described as living without digital devices at work, for fun, and to communicate. In as much as the use of digital devices has many advantages, their most common disadvantage is that they develop what is commonly known as vision syndrome or digital eye strain. Among the major causes of this stress on the eyes is blue light which is common in these electronic displays.
