He has made an immense contribution to the growth of the society by organising annual conferences twice in India and holding the office of President of Society and council member .

Richly deserved recognition for the hard work in pioneering and developing kidney transplantation in India and training more than 100 DNB fellows at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

He is pioneer in developing group practice in nephrology, vascular access and various difficult transplants like Spousal, HBsAg positive, ABOi. sensitized transplants and pioneer in starting kidney transplantation in north India .

This award is the recognition of his hard work over 5 decades and dedication. We are truly blessed to be working under his patronage and guidance. He has brought huge laurels to our department and institution.
