Sir Ganga Ram Hospital observed World Hospice & Palliative Care Day 2025 on 11th October, organised by the Department of Palliative Medicine under the leadership of Dr. Bimla Sharma, Chairperson, Palliative Medicine.

Inaugurated by Dr. D.S. Rana, Chairman, Sir Ganga Ram Trust Society, and Dr. R.K. Mani, Guest of Honour, the event shed light on “Achieving the Promise: Universal Access to Palliative Care.”

The day featured meaningful discussions on Advance Medical Directives, Kidney Supportive Care, End-of-Life Ethics, and the Therapeutic Potential of Medical Cannabis — blending science with compassion.

Inspiring performances by students of Maulana Azad Medical College and Shri Aurobindo College added emotional depth, while young winners of the Annual National Competition were honoured for spreading awareness on elderly care.
