Special facilities for spinal cord injury
Spinal cord injury refers to damage to spinal cord resulting from trauma (e.g. car crash, fall from height) or from disease (e.g. cancer), which causes partial or complete loss of motor and sensory function of arms/legs or body. Hand therapy
‘A perfect anatomical repair without functional recovery is useless’. Hand therapy focuses on functional recovery from an upper limb injury/disease. Treatment programmes are individualized to meet the goals of each patient. This is done through close communication between the referring physician, our specialized hand therapist and the patient.
