A glimpse of the Code Yellow – Mock Disaster Drill conducted on 1st June 2025 at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to assess the emergency preparedness and response capability of the staff.

Approximately 40 mock casualties were sent to the Department of Emergency Medical Services (DEMS) following a Code Yellow alert. The drill saw active participation from the GM Housekeeping, Sanitary Inspector, and the Principal of the School of Nursing. Administrative umpires, identified by white caps marked ‘UMPIRE’, oversaw adherence to the hospital’s disaster plan and documented key observations for the debriefing session.
