Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), New Delhi, in collaboration with regional partners, successfully organised the “Update in Oncology (Clinical Updates on Common Cancers)” at Radisson Blu Hotel, Jammu on April 12, 2026.
The conclave was jointly led by Dr. Shyam Aggarwal, Chairperson, Department of Medical Oncology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Dr. Deepak Bharti, Senior Consultant, Medical and Hemato-Oncology, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH), Katra.
Graced by Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, Principal, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, the event brought together 200+ delegates, including oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and general practitioners from across the region.

Focused on the latest advancements in breast, oral, endometrial, lung, rectal, and upper GI cancers, along with robotic surgery in oncology, the conclave enabled meaningful knowledge exchange through lectures, case-based discussions, and interactive panels.
The event was further honoured by the presence of the CEO of Association of Oncologists of India (AOI) and the CEO of Vaishno Devi Hospital.
