Sir Ganga Ram Hospital’s Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Renal Transplantation successfully organised a heartfelt Parent Awareness Camp for Kidney Diseases in Children, creating a meaningful platform for care, education, and hope.
The program included interactive lectures for parents, a drawing competition on “Healthy Kidneys, Healthy Life,” and moving patient-family stories highlighting the positive impact of care at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
A key highlight was the dance and stage performances by post-kidney transplant children, beautifully reflecting how they are leading active, normal lives with a renal allograft in situ—attending school and engaging in everyday activities with confidence.
The event also featured science shows, games, tattoo making, and a magic show, making it both educational and joyful. With around 250 children and their guardians in attendance, the camp truly celebrated resilience and recovery.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the hospital leadership—Dr. D. S. Rana, Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Dr. Jayashree Sood, and Dr. A. K. Bhalla—for their continued support in advancing this specialised field and delivering impactful outcomes.
