On 22nd September 2025, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, signed an MoU with the Special Centre of Molecular Medicine (SCMM), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) to advance clinical and molecular research collaborations.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. D.S. Rana, Chairman, Sir Ganga Ram Trust Society, Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman, Board of Management, and senior leaders of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, alongside Prof. Shweta Saran, Director, R&D, JNU, and Prof. Rakesh K. Tyagi, Chairperson, SCMM.
Guided by Prof. N.K. Ganguly, Chairperson, R&D, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, this partnership will drive joint research, academic exchange, and innovation in healthcare and life sciences, integrating clinical excellence with molecular medicine.
The collaboration between Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has been actively facilitated and made possible through major contributions by Dr. Evanka Madan, who is a distinguished Consultant and Associate Professor at SGRH and previously an independent scientist at JNU. Her leadership and involvement in joint research grants and biomedical projects have been central to establishing this partnership.
